Balenciaga designer fashion

Balenciaga was founded by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga. The man, who was born in Basque County has created a fascinating line of clothing featuring original designs that are interesting to look at and fun to wear. He is credited with introducing couture shapes to the women’s world and was called “the master of us all” by Christian Dior.
Some of the unique styles that are characteristic of Balenciaga include the very feminine and oddly shaped bubble skirts. These bubble skirts soon became trademarks of the house with their ultra modern shapes and interesting cut.
Balenciaga has designed clothing worn by many Hollywood stars. Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Connelly both wore Balenciaga dresses to the 2006 Academy Awards. He also designed the dress for Nicole Kidman’s wedding to Keith Urban.
Kylie Minogue wor a Balenciaga dress to her music video, Slow. She also wore one for her concert tour.
It isn’t just the stars who are impressed with this designer. The brand’s 2007 line wowed Editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue, Amy Astley, that a recent Teen Vogue shoot was inspired by the line. The spread, called Global Studies, included beaded and embellished scarves, fitted blazers, multiculti mixes, and skinny jodphers. The spread was shot in Beijing.
