Demylee designer fashion
The Demylee brand of clothing has a trademark of ultra-fine, luxurious cashmere. This is the foundation of all her designs.
The founder of the brand is Demy Lee. She is based in New York City but was born in Korea. Demy Lee immigrated to the United States when she was fifteen. The designer studied at Parsons School of Design and worked in design positions at Gap Inc. and Calvin Klein. Demy also played a key role in launching the first collection of Tory Burch.
After working in design for several years for other people, Demy Lee realised that she wanted to focus her energy on her own designs and designs based on what she most appreciated in her own closet. Demy Lee chose as the foundation of her designs the sweater, which was an article of clothing she reached for almost every day.
Demy Lee immersed herself into learning everything about the fabric she would use to make her sweaters. She discovered that Inner Mongolian goats produced the finest cashmere fibre known. She learned about the best climate for goats, how long the fibres should be and the cleaning process of the yarn.
The Demylee cashmere lien was launched in the fall of 2007. Styles are utterly unique, and provide elegant silhouettes on every woman who wears them.
