Tomas Maier is a fashion house that was founded in 1997 in Miami Beach, Florida. The designer behind the brand is a man in perpetual motion and this can be seen in the quality and tasteful designs he makes. He currently lives in Palm Beach, Florida.
Tomas Maier, the designer, was born and raised in Germany. He studied in Paris for his design education and trained at Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and the haute couture atelier of Guy Laroche. Besides this extensive training, Tomas Maier has also worked in luxury fashion houses for more than two decades.
The designer behind the brand spent nine years designing women’s wear at Hermes and eight years designing menswear at Sonia Rykiel. He also served as creative director of Revillon for four years.
The man currently designs the Tomas Maier label. In addition to overseeing his own lien, Tomas Maier is also the creative director of Bottega Veneta. Bottega Veneta is an Italian luxury leather goods house based in Milan.
