When you watch Sesame Street, all those characters are actually people wearing kids halloween costume. I wouldn’t tell a kid watching the show that Big Bird is actually a kids halloween costumes with an grown up inside moving Big Beard around. I think kids would be frightened and disappointed that their favorite Sesame Street character is actually a adult inside an kids halloween costumes. So when you see Big Bird or Oscar, know that they aren’t real and it’s just a regular kids halloween costumes. I wonder how kids react when they finally realize that when they find out and are old enough to recognize that Sesame Street was a fraud and just a show to entertain kids and take their parents money in branded merchandise. Kids are easily entertained and form bonds to characters, shows, and things extremely quickly. And to create something as engaging as Sesame Street to trick them into believing that there is a world where huge monsters exist and are friendly is extremely mean and short sighted. 300 years ago, kids were farming the fields and milking cows. This shows children at an early age that life is hard and is real. That in the world, there are not big huge monsters but rather cows to milk, and hay to bale. Nowadays they just watch silly creatures on television.
