Opportunities for theatre, modeling and some commercial work are plentiful and a fabulous way to get going in your craft .
Albuquerque, New Mexico today is the new city to be in if you want to work in movies. In the past 5 years, many motion pictures have been shot in this location due to the lower expense of finding a facility and the price of access to magnificent open land here too . Many movie studio warehouses have been built here and because it is so much more reasonable to shoot in New Mexico than in California it has been a popular thing to do so for several movie directors and producers. Many people working in films behind the scenes have realized this and have now moved to Albuquerque permanently and are receiving more work than they can do .
The less expensive cost of living in New Mexico gives those that are making films or even acting in films to live luxuriously for a low price and the views are an added bonus as well . Major film star Julia Roberts now lives on her ranch in New Mexico and several actors are wanting to do the same .
